Today's topic is handling clients with unrealistic
expectations. As a digital marketing freelancer, dealing with
clients who have unrealistic expectations can be a challenging and
frustrating experience.
In this solo pep talk episode, I discuss a rejection letter received by a workgroup member from a business owner who was overly focused on perfectionism. I break down how you’re allowed to see red flags during a discovery call and say no if it’s not a good fit. While it’s beneficial to have marketing assets as a freelancer, like a website and social media, you don’t have to have huge follower and engagement numbers. Clients need to look beyond superficial details and understand the value of adding a versatile digital marketer to their team.
